About Spanner Software

After graduating with a first class honours degree in Physics from Queen Mary College, London, Victor Spanner has worked in the computer software industry since 1992.

Between 1992 and 1996 he worked as a software engineer developing MS-DOS systems and native Microsoft Windows applications. In 1996 he trained as a database specialist, developing several Oracle-based systems.

In 1998, Spanner Software Ltd was incorporated and has provided the platform for several exciting projects including the creation of a domain registration and hosting business between 1999 and 2005 (sold in November 2005).

Victor is now a freelance web technology specialist, majoring on the development of bespoke web applications using the latest open-source tools.
